TIHBY part.3/ Cupcake Top from Sewing Mama RaeAnna

Next up in my new series, TIHBY .a.k.a. “Things I haven’t Blogged Yet ;)” is Cupcake Top pattern from Sewing Mama RaeAnna!

I made this top for her pattern testing back in last November (you see some colored leaves behind A in this pic). Wow. I have no idea why I haven’t blogged yet. ha.

I used yellow-orange interlock knit from JoAnn for the main fabric and Briar Rose Jersey Knit by Heather Ross for the contrast fabric.

It is basically a simple long sleeve t-shirt and has optional ruffles on sleeve hems, pocket sides and body hem. You can leave it simple or add some ruffles, totally up to you.

I was thinking about making matching Cupcake Top using same fabric combination but switching the main and the contrast for T… and it didn’t happen yet. Sometimes time just flies…

Anyway, this is super simple and easy sewing and the result is definitely cute. You can buy this pattern HERE now.

Thanks for stopping by this inactive blog… Happy Sewing!
