Pattern Parcel 6 / Women’s Clothing “Julia Cardigan”

Today is my turn on blogging about Pattern Parcel 6.

I got sooo excited when I heard from Jill (Made with Moxie) that Pattern Parcel 6 was going to be women’s clothing pattern collection. And I got more excited when I saw the patterns included in the PP6!

How Pattern Parcel Works:

Here at Perfect Pattern Parcel, we believe in supporting independent pattern designers. It’s our opinion that indie patterns are just, well, better than big box patterns, and we’re pretty sure our customers think so too. So, we allow customers to show their support in naming their own price for each Parcel.  We also encourage customers to allocate part of their Parcel price to the charity in order to help classrooms in need. Pattern Parcel donates all profits after expenses from Parcel sales to the charity as well. Together we’ve raised over $12,000 for classrooms in need!

How gorgeous these patterns are!
I really wanted to make EVERY. PIECE. OF. THEM. But I live in 24 hours a day and I need no less than 8-10 hours sleep every night (because of my sickness and medication), so I couldn’t do that. Instead, I made one I was in need seriously. It’s getting colder and colder here!
Yes. I made another Julia Cardigan! (I had made one last winter and you can read about it here)
Last time I made it, I didn’t have a serger, but now I have it. Last time I made it, I didn’t do “Doubled collar” because I didn’t have enough yardage (or just was too lazy to cut another pair of collars :(), but this time, I did that. THAT WAS SO FAST TO SEW.
I think I finished sewing it only in 2 hours or so. Because the collar which covered both front and back bodice all around didn’t need to be hemmed, it was soooo easy and fast.
And this doubled collar looks good, doesn’t it?
The fabric is Glittering Sweatshirt Knit from my shop. Unfortunately, I only have 1m (about 1 yd) left of this. It’s also out of stock, so I’m looking for another glittering sweatshirt knit now. Because it is awesome. I have some another sweatshirt knits there, so if you are in need, please check it out!

This parcel  is only available as a group for two weeks, October 17 – 31, so go get it while you can! Make sure you check out the IG hashtag #patternparcel for more ideas from these patterns. There are three or more bloggers making garments from this parcel, everyday during the sale!

Note: I was provided with these patterns in return for blogging about them but all opinions are 100% my own.

Go and get it!

I’m hoping making another one(s) during the sale.. so hopefully, see you soon with another sewing for me!
