Nutta Fabric Shop Blog Tour Day.8 / Marte from Compagnie-M

Finally, it’s the last day of Nutta Fabric Shop Blog Tour! And we have another gorgeous guest pretty appropriate for the last day of the tour, Marte from Compagnie-M!

Do I need to introduce her? Well, maybe not, but maybe yes.

She is a designer of the indie pattern company, Compagnie-M, a mom of twin girls and lives in Belgium. Her design is unique, vinatge-y and very stylish. If you haven’t seen them, just take a moment and look at all of her patterns in her shop.

Now she is working on releasing her newest pattern, women’s Julia Sweater while she just had released Lotta Skirt pattern (for both girls and women) recently, like a few days ago. Yes. She is busy not only talented.

She joined Italian Craft Fair, Abilmente lately with Annika, who also joined this tour and made a comfy pj for her daughter.

So, what fabric do you think Marte chose and made?

This one,  grey Japanese quilted knit.

When she asked me to send this fabric, I didn’t have enough yardage of this color, grey. I told her so and then she asked me to send three small pieces of all three colors. Hmm? So I sent her, pink, brown and grey quilted knit pieces.

And she made a color blocked Julia Sweater for herself! WOW.

Looks great! Doesn’t it?

I had made Gardenia Dress (pattern from Cali Faye Collection) using this fabric and also made Evelyn bag with brown one. This fabric is soft but sturdy and beautiful. Grey was sold out soon but now in stock!
